PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Qualifications
 
Must be a graduate, or have a certificate from an APTA approved school of physical therapy, or a school approved by the World Congress of Physical Therapy
State licensure - required
Valid driver’s license
Experience in pediatrics - preferred
 

PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT

Qualifications
 
High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate Degree in Physical Therapy preferred
State licensure - required
Basic knowledge of the reasons for patient care as administered in the department, some knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and neurology is necessary
Minimum of one year of experience preferred
Valid driver’s license
Experience in pediatrics - preferred
 

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Qualifications
 
Graduation from an accredited college with a four year course leading to a Bachelor of Science degree or entry level Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
Certification by the Board of Registry of the American Occupational Therapy Association
State licensure - required
Valid driver’s license
Experience in pediatrics - preferred
 

CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT

Qualifications
 
High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy preferred
Certification by the Board of Registry of the American Occupational Therapy Association
State licensure is required
Superficial knowledge of the reasons for patient care as administered in the department, some knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and neurology is necessary
Minimum of one year of experience preferred
Valid driver’s license
Experience in pediatrics preferred
 

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Qualifications
 
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
Licensed to practice in the field of Speech-Lanaguage Pathology, if required by the state in which employed
Basic knowledge in aural rehabilitation; as well as training and experience in audiological screening
Ability to identify and diagnose communication disorders based on a variety of medical diagnoses
Valid driver’s license
Experience in pediatrics preferred
